Speaking of my friend who is in the hospital (see previous post), I have been visiting her a lot this week, and we have been doing a lot of catching up. We went to middle and high school together, and have only saw each other a few times since graduation. We try to stay in touch over MySpace, but that hasn't worked really well. She's been filling me in on everyone that's been getting married and having babies. She has been able to pass on some of her baby furniture because of this. It seems that most of the people I graduated with are mommies and daddies now!
One of my friends has been in the hospital for a week now with a blood clot in her right lung. Well, the clot has passed, but now she's sitting in there because she was on blood thinners to break up the clot, and now they are having to raise her clotting levels in her blood back up to 2-3. It's been hovering between 1 and 2 all week. Hopefully she will get to go home later today. We have a shopping trip scheduled for tomorrow to go get her youngest some baby clothes for winter. He's too small to wear his older brother's things from when he was a year old. I cannot wait to go, as I LOVE shopping for baby clothes!
James came today to tell me again (for the 100th time) that he wants to get into golfing. He said some of his co-workers were discussing the sport today while one of them was sporting one of his golf hats. I would really like to get back into golf as well, as my grandfather taught me how to play when I was younger. I actually played for my middle school. Although I wasn't too good, back then it didn't matter. There weren't many golfers on the team, so they were glad to have the players that they did.
Wow, I have not blogged here in a while! Actually, I had totally forgot about the blog for a while...Bad me!
I'm going to Paint Your Pot tomorrow for McKinsey's birthday. I think that's it.
Bye everybody!
Where do you go for advice?
Google.
I was sitting in the doctor’s office yesterday awaiting my grandmother’s appointment when I started getting a headache.
I don’t know if it was because of their bright commerical lighting
or the fact that it was 3pm I hadn’t eaten all day (maybe a combo of
the two), but I rarely get headaches. When I do, I want nothing more
than to lay in bed and sleep until the pain goes away. The way I see
it, if I can get to sleep, I won’t know I’m hurting!
What question do you wish you'd never asked.

I ask a lot of questions, but I generally don't ask questions I don't want to know the answer to. If I think the answer is going to bother me, I won't even ask... Unless I absolutely need to know, heh.
Sheesh! Shopping for babies can become exhausting. Just thinking about all the things new parents need makes my head hurt. Plus, thinking about all the time spent walking down aisles upon aisles at various stores makes my feet hurt. I think, when the time comes, I will try to do the majority of my shopping online. No lines or crowds, and I wouldn’t have to worry about how I’m going to lug the heavy baby furniture home when it’s coming straight to my door
